Well, oh well, SPRING is here and Easter is on its way… hip-hip-HOORAY! I have been busy scurrying around getting things in order, cleaning the house, and collecting all my holiday supplies. I did a little bit of shopping and purchased a few new decor items this year, as I mentioned in last week’s post. But besides that, I have a few staple items that I love getting out and using every year. So, let me show you how to make decorating for Easter simple with my top 5 picks!

Gatherings are always FUN but what makes mine more fun and easy is to have my favorite “go-to” items on hand! What would a holiday be without my special decorations? It makes life a little easier to come up with a few staples that you can use year after year. And I do just that! Here are my 5 decor items I recommend for Easter celebrations and special spring occasions.

1. cake stands

Everything looks yummier on a cake stand that’s for sure! And, the best part is they are so pretty, they can jazz up any decor in seconds! I LOVE using a mix of cut glass and white ceramic! Cake stands are perfect to use in your centerpieces as well! And you can find some lovely ones on Amazon such as the Anchor Hocking Cake Dome, Anchor Hocking Monaco Crystal Stand, and the Italian Godinger Cake Stand (paid links).

2. flowers

Where would we be without flowers?! Flowers are festive, fun, beautiful, and bright! I always display sunny yellow tulips and daffodils for Easter! They just seem to sing SPRING! This year I’m obsessed with yellow ranunculus blooms… gorgeous!

3. vintage vessels

You knew I was going to mention VINTAGE, how could I not?! Vintage ceramics come in such wonderful pastel colors. Nothing can beat that!

4. baskets

This year I tried to think outside the box just a tad. I am using some vintage traditional-style baskets as well as colorful raffia embroidered ones. They give a real zip to my Easter decor and make my ho-hum houseplants look amazing!

5. bunnies

And Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a few bunnies! I add mine to my floral displays and I use the larger planters to hold jellybeans and treats. They are well-loved!

Gosh, it’s exciting when SPRING comes around! I LOVE the blooms on trees and birds in the air and getting together with my family and friends. I look forward to enjoying such a beautiful holiday! And, to make things a little bit easier, I have my special decor items that I know I’m going to use, ready and waiting. So, if you are looking for ways to make Easter decorating more simple, just think of my top 5 picks: cake stands, flowers, vintage vessels, baskets, and bunnies! So, let’s get HOPPING!
