What a Great Time at the Flea Market Extravaganza!

A concrete bust of a woman painted mint green with gold flowers in her hair displayed on a flea market table with green bowls and canisters in the background.

When spring is heating up and the school year is coming to a close… that’s the time I get really excited! Some people say that summer reminds them of vacation, picnics, and baseball, but not me. I say warm weather reminds me of garage sales, estate sales, but most of all FLEA MARKETS! And, last week my long wait was over! I finally got to enjoy the Springfield show! It’s been eight months since the last one and BOY was it worth the wait! It was truly AMAZING… what a great time at the flea market EXTRAVAGANZA!

The Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market takes place at the Clark County fairgrounds in central Ohio! Seven times a year vintage vendors gather to sell their wares. But twice a year they host an EXTRAVAGANZA… they go hog wild and invite over 2,000 dealers from all over the country! And I’m not the only one jazzed about it… over 25,000 visitors come to treasure hunt and shop! You’ve just got to see it to believe it!

This year I met up with family and friends, which made the trip fantastic! What could be better than getting to share what you LOVE with the people you LOVE?! It really made for a super terrific day! So, if you have never gone to a flea market before… what are you waiting for? Grab a buddy and GO! And, if you’re lucky enough to live close to Springfield Ohio, the next extravaganza is September 20-22. So, let’s enjoy the warm weather! Let’s try a new adventure! Let’s go to a flea market! And most importantly, let’s get HOMEY!
