Say Bye to Winter Blues By Adding Beautiful Spring Greens

A variety of beautiful plants in a corner of a sunroom: a fiddleleaf fig, a philodendron, and a ponytail palm.

In January I wrote a blog about bringing in the green to encourage thoughts of spring. And although I was so gung-ho about adding fresh greenery to my decor… I couldn’t find many houseplants at the time! Inventory was so low and it was a sad day indeed! But luckily since then, my gorgeous plants have come in! And, it was sure worth the wait! For me, nothing brightens up a home this time of year like a luscious leafy fern. So, say bye to winter blues by adding beautiful spring greens!

I found a set of these pretty little vintage floral baskets with delicate raffia flowers at a local thrift store. I was able to get a set of 2 for $4.99. They are perfect for holding my blooming daffodils and really reflect the spring vibe.

Nothing is better than a handcrafted pottery piece that is made with love! These yellow-glazed pots were made by my daughter in high school and were hand-turned on a pottery wheel in art class. My mini ivy plants look so cheery in these beauties!
